Sergio Soto

Sergio Soto is a seasoned technology and sales professional with extensive experience in system engineering, sales strategies, and solution engineering across various regions, particularly Latin America. Currently serving as a Senior System Engineer at VAST Data, Sergio previously held the position of Director of Latin America Sales and Solution Engineering at OpenDrives, where responsibilities included sales strategy oversight and partner recruitment. Sergio’s tenure at Quantum spanned over seven years, featuring accolades such as the FY’19 Quantum SE Manager of the Year and the FY’21 Quantum Above and Beyond Choice Award. In previous roles, Sergio demonstrated expertise in technical account management, big data and cloud solutions architecture, and network engineering. Sergio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from Universidad Anáhuac and has pursued additional qualifications in product management and related fields from various prestigious institutions.
