Steve Valimaki

Steve Valimaki is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and sales. Currently serving as the Director of Systems Engineering at VAST Data Federal since January 2019, Steve has previously held key roles at Thales e-Security as a Sales Engineer and at DataDirect Networks as a Systems Engineer. Prior positions include various technical roles at SGI, where responsibilities ranged from Systems Engineer to Account Support Engineer, and a Unix Systems Administrator role at Martin Marietta. Steve Valimaki holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information and Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus and an Associate of Arts degree in Digital Electronics from Catonsville Community College.
