Stuart Abbott

Stuart Abbott is an experienced sales leader currently serving as the Managing Director of Sales for UKI&I at VAST Data since July 2023. Previously, Stuart held multiple key roles at Commvault, including Director of International Data Protection and Area Vice President & General Manager for UK&I, where the focus was on data backup and recovery solutions. Prior to Commvault, Stuart worked at Dell EMC for over a decade, leading teams in global accounts and financial services, facilitating digital transformation for large enterprises. Earlier in Stuart's career, positions included Regional Finance Manager at Hitachi Data Systems and various finance and account management roles at EMC Computer Systems and Societe Generale Equipment Finance. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and has a strong educational background from Gravesend Grammar School for Boys.
