David Goodwin

David G. is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Vast since June 2023, having previously held the roles of Acting General Counsel and Associate General Counsel. Additionally, David is part of the Steering Committee at Space Beach Law Lab. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel, Senior Counsel, and Counsel at Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc. from May 2017 to June 2023, and Of Counsel at Troutman Sanders LLP from April 2016 to May 2017. David's legal practice focuses on assisting companies in navigating highly regulated industries, a role recognized by the Orange County Business Journal as “Heading Off Trouble.” Earlier positions include Counsel for Government & Military at Oakley and various roles at Greenberg Traurig LLP and Dykema Gossett PLLC. David G. holds a JD from the American University Washington College of Law and a BA in Political Science from UC San Diego.
