Leah Smith

Leah Smith is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, with a focus on Robotics and an anticipated graduation in 2025. Leah's professional experience includes roles as a Station Structures Design Engineer at VAST, where responsibilities included primary structure station engineering. Prior experience encompasses positions at Collins Aerospace as an R&D Mechanical Engineer and an IR&D Mechanical Engineer, focusing on research and development for US Navy contracts. Additionally, Leah has worked as a Falcon Test Engineer at SpaceX, a Mechanical Design Engineer at BOMBARDIER, and began a career in the engineering field as an Assembler I at Out of the Box Manufacturing. Currently, Leah serves as a Structures Manufacturing Engineer at VAST, contributing to manufacturing processes for primary structures.
