Patrick Watson is an experienced propulsion engineer currently serving as Propulsion Engineer II at VAST since February 2023, with responsibilities including oversight of the oxidizer turbopump assembly for the E-2 rocket engine. Previously, Patrick held positions as a Mechanical Engineer and an intern focusing on the development of the closed cycle E2 rocket engine. Prior experience also includes a mechanical engineering internship at Launcher and a service technician role at Pasadena Cyclery, where expertise was gained in mountain bike suspension and bicycle overhauls. Patrick holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering & Applied Science, earned between 2020 and 2023.
