Lars Backström

Lars Backström is currently the CEO of Västtrafik AB. Prior to this, they were a management consultant at ManTec from August 2003 to August 2004. Lars then became the managing director and CEO of Dragster Kommunikation, an advertising agency specializing in brand development and strategic communication, from January 2001 to December 2003. In August 2004, they became the managing director and CEO of Taxi Göteborg, the largest taxi service in West Sweden, serving almost 10 000 customers daily with a turnover of €50 million. From January 1996 to December 2000, they were the managing director and CEO of Nordiska Vägrestauranger, a road side restaurant chain offering food and beverages, motels and petrol stations across Sweden with a turnover of €60 million.

Lars Backström has a BA in Economics/International marketing from Augustana College. Lars also has a degree from the University of Gothenburg in Managerial judgement in decision making. Lars has worked in Business Development, Business Controlling, Strategic Brand Management, and Strategic Planning. Lars is currently working as a Business Consultant.
