PGVS (Poorvanchal Gramin Vikas Sansthan) is a grassroots, not-for-profit organization based in Uttar Pradesh, India, with a steadfast commitment to empowering rural communities through participatory development, social justice, and constitutional values. Founded in 1987, PGVS has grown into a dynamic force working across districts to strengthen rural livelihoods, promote inclusive education and health, empower women, and amplify citizen voices.

Through more than three decades of relentless grassroots engagement, PGVS has touched the lives of thousands across Eastern Uttar Pradesh and beyond.
