Giulia Biermann

Giulia Biermann (Maraschin) has a diverse professional background with significant experience in the field of VAT and export compliance. Since January 2019, Giulia has been associated with TecEx, initially serving as an International VAT Account Manager and later advancing to Team Lead from January 2022 to October 2025. Following this role, Giulia joined VAT IT as a Service Research Analyst in October 2025. Prior to these positions, an internship at Investec took place in August 2018. Giulia holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economic Science, Corporate Finance, and Investments from the University of the Witwatersrand, both completed between 2013 and 2016. Early education was completed at St Mary’s School Waverly from 2006 to 2012.
