Shane Johnson

Shane Johnson began their career in 2003 as a Java Developer for InsuranceNoodle, Inc. In 2005, they moved to CityTech, Inc. as a Senior Consultant and became familiar with Struts and Hibernate. In 2010, they joined Amentra, a Red Hat subsidiary, as a Senior Consultant and became an expert with both Red Hat products and JBoss projects. In 2011, they joined Red Hat as a Technical Marketing Manager, where they leveraged their experience to refine the product marketing strategy for Red Hat JBoss middleware. In 2013, they moved to Couchbase as a Director of Product Marketing and Senior Product Marketing Manager, focusing on the big picture and fine-tuning product messaging and positioning. In 2021, they joined FairCom Corporation as Head Of Marketing and in 2022, they moved to FL0 as Head Of Marketing. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Vaticle as Senior Director of Product.

Shane Johnson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management and Computer Information Systems from the University of Tampa - John H. Sykes College of Business between 1997 and 2001. Shane then went on to complete a Master of Science (M.S.) in Distributed Systems from DePaul University between 2003 and 2006.
