Robert Kahn

Robert Kahn currently serves as an Innovation Advisory Council Member at Vation Ventures since April 2025. Previously, Kahn held the position of EVP and Chief Strategy Officer at HTLF from 2023 to 2025, where Kahn was instrumental as the inaugural CSO of a $20 billion public bank holding company, developing long-term strategic visions and leading the merger integration with UMB. Prior to HTLF, Kahn spent two decades at Union Bank, culminating in the role of Managing Director, Head of Sales & Service Administration, providing strategic advisory services across a diverse client portfolio. Kahn’s earlier positions at Union Bank included Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and various regional management roles. Kahn began a career at California Bank & Trust as a Senior Relationship Manager. Kahn earned a BA in Economics from UCLA.
