Alan Wood

Alan Wood has extensive experience in risk analysis and management, currently serving as the Head of Transaction Analysis at Vattenfall since December 2007. In this role, Alan leads a team focused on identifying and quantifying risks associated with investment projects and transactions across the organization. Prior to this, Alan was a Senior Transaction Analyst, providing independent advisory support to executive management. Earlier positions include Risk Analyst at Nuon, where responsibilities included long-term demand forecasting and reporting financial positions to the board, and Energy Analyst at ScottishPower, with a focus on P&L and VaR reporting. Alan holds an MSci in Physics and Mathematical Finance from the University of Strathclyde.
