Alex Wilkinson

Alex Wilkinson is an experienced HV Cables Senior Engineer specializing in cable design within the BA Wind Offshore division at Vattenfall since July 2021. In this role, Alex serves as the technical authority for array and export cables, overseeing strategic decisions, developing engineering guidelines, and managing requirements through Polarion software. Previously, Alex worked at Prysmian Group as a Systems Engineer, focusing on AC submarine cable projects and participating in project tendering and contract phases. Earlier experience includes roles at Dunlop Oil & Marine Ltd., where Alex prepared technical proposals for various marine systems. Alex holds a Master's degree in Professional Engineering from Aston University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
