Anna-Karin Stenberg

Anna-Karin Stenberg is the SVP, Head of Business Area - Markets at Vattenfall. Anna-Karin has over 20 years of experience in leadership roles in finance and administration.

Stenberg began their career in 1995 as a Business Controller and head of administration at Adtranz. In 1997, they became the General Manager of Atlas Copco ASAP, where they set up a European Shared Services organization providing services to Atlas Copco sales companies in 19 European countries. In 2003, the organization turned global and had roughly 1000 employees around the world with hubs in Shanghai, Sydney, Antwerp and Charlotte.

In 2008, Stenberg joined Vattenfall as the CFO Nordic, responsible for Business Control in the Nordic region and driving various efficiency improvement programs. In 2011, they became the Vice President Head of Corporate Control at Telia Company AB. In 2015, they returned to Vattenfall as the Business Area Controller of BA Markets.

Anna-Karin Stenberg's educational career has involved obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in international economics and marketing from the University of Linköping.
