Bas Smid

Bas Smid is an experienced project director at Vattenfall since January 2011, overseeing large HR projects and serving as Director of HR IT, responsible for approximately 2000 IT staff. Prior to Vattenfall, Bas held the position of HR Manager at Nuon and was the owner of SRS Interim, where roles included Program Manager at Getronics/KPN. Earlier in the career, Bas served as Director of HR EMEA at Cordys and HR Director at Getronics, managing both HR Shared Services and HR functions for Sales, Marketing, and General Administration. Bas began the professional journey as Branchemanager and recruiter at Start People after completing education at Hanze University from 1990 to 1995.
