Bas Wellink

Bas Wellink has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Director of Maintenance & Operations at Vattenfall since October 2016, overseeing heat assets in the Amsterdam and Rotterdam-Hoogvliet-Leiden areas. Previously held various managerial roles within Vattenfall, including responsibilities for district heat grid construction and maintenance for significant asset networks. Wellink's background also includes a tenure at Nuon from August 2002 to October 2016, where responsibilities ranged from operations management to consulting on financial and operational performance improvements. An academic foundation is established with a Master of Science in Technology Management from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by further studies at Nyenrode Business University and de Baak.
