Brian Jenkins is an experienced professional in the offshore wind sector, currently serving as OPEX Manager for Offshore Wind Costing & Modelling at Vattenfall since March 2024. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Project Engineer at the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, contributing to various construction and operations projects within the Floating Offshore Wind Centre of Excellence. Brian's academic background includes a PhD focused on Operations and Maintenance Cost Modelling of next-generation offshore wind turbines from the University of Strathclyde, where extensive research on floating wind operations was conducted. Earlier career roles included Intervention Manager and Engineering Specialist Graduate at Scottish Water, as well as a Process Engineer Intern at Xodus Group. Brian holds a Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering with Energy Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
