Carlo Henze

Carlo Henze is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Director of Trading Accounting & Settlement within Vattenfall's Business Area Markets since September 2010. In this role, Carlo is responsible for Accounting, Settlement, Financial Controlling, and Cash Management for Vattenfall's trading activities across various European markets and globally. Prior to this position, Carlo held several leadership roles within Vattenfall, including Head of Trading Accounting & Settlement in Hamburg and Head of Accounting for Nuclear Power Plants in Germany. Carlo also served as Chairman of the Board at VT Shipping A/S from April 2018 to December 2021, overseeing water transportation services. Earlier career experience includes a managerial position at EY, where Carlo managed audits for both listed and non-listed companies under multiple accounting standards. Carlo holds a Diplom in Business Administration from university, earned in 2004.
