Chris Bogaard is currently an Engineering Manager at Vattenfall, leading the Magnum H2M Project aimed at transforming power plants into hydrogen-fired units to promote sustainable energy solutions. They have held various roles at Vattenfall since 2016, including overseeing commissioning management for large-scale heat and power plants. Chris completed a Master’s degree in Sustainable Processes & Energy Technologies at Delft University of Technology, where they also conducted a master’s thesis focused on producing furfural from biomass. Additionally, Chris gained early experience through an internship in Research, Development & Technology at Corus, enhancing hot blast stove operations for steel making.
