Daniel Nordgren

Daniel Nordgren has extensive experience in the energy sector, primarily with Vattenfall since June 1999, where Daniel currently serves as Vice President of Generation Fleet Development, focusing on hydro and nuclear assets, and exploring new business opportunities. Throughout their career at Vattenfall, Daniel has held several key positions, including Director of Production Planning, where responsibilities included managing the planning and pricing of electricity across multiple markets, and Director of Mid-term Asset Optimization, overseeing future price forecasting and production planning. Daniel also led the Nordic Production Planning team, which plays a crucial role in supplying electricity to Sweden. Previous roles include heading production planning development and managing hedging strategies for Nordic generation. Additionally, Daniel served in the Swedish Navy as a Signaller and holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University.
