Gerry McDonnell is currently the Head of Engineering for Vattenfall Heat UK in Scotland, a position they will hold in 2025. With a robust background in engineering, Gerry previously served as an Engineering Manager at Vattenfall from 2022 to 2024. They began their career at SSE plc, completing a graduate development program and later working as a Senior Engineer in Heat Networks. Gerry also gained experience as a Summer Intern at Procter & Gamble and holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aero-Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 2011 to 2016.
