Hans Verwilligen is an experienced asset management and maintenance professional with a comprehensive background in the energy sector. Currently serving as an Asset Management Partner and Asset Manager at RWE since February 2023, Hans focuses on optimizing the Magnum Power Plant's capabilities and integrating hydrogen for future power generation. Prior to this, Hans held various positions at Vattenfall, including Asset Manager and Project Manager for maintenance outages, contributing significantly to the development and operational phases of multiple power plants, including the Magnum Eemshaven facility. Earlier experience includes roles as a Maintenance Consultant at Stork Maintenance Management and a Senior Maintenance Engineer at Demkolec B.V., complemented by engineering positions within the nuclear industry at N.V. GKN and KEMA N.V. Hans holds a Master’s degree in Maintenance Management from Glasgow Caledonian University and an engineering degree in Gas Technology/Mechanical Engineering from Hogeschool Groningen.
