Ian Baker

Ian Baker is an experienced professional in the energy infrastructure sector with a career spanning over two decades. Currently, Ian holds multiple leadership titles at Vattenfall, including Head of Energy Infrastructure, Head of Substations, and Head of High Voltage AC & Grid Management since November 2017. Prior to this, Ian served as Grid Compliance Manager at Rampion Offshore Wind Farm - E.ON and as Electrical Package Manager for Triton Knoll Offshore Wind Farm at Statkraft. Ian's extensive experience at E.ON includes roles such as Grid/OFTO System Manager for Rampion Offshore Wind Farm, Senior Electrical Engineer for various offshore projects, Package Manager for London Array offshore wind farm, and Project Developer for Robin Rigg offshore wind farm. Ian began the career as an Asset Investment Engineer at National Grid and previously developed onshore wind projects at E.ON UK. Ian holds a degree in Electrical Power Engineering from The University of Manchester and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
