John Gates

John Gates is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the wind energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of UK Onshore O&M delivery at Vattenfall since December 2021, John has previously held the role of Wind Farm Operations Manager at Jacobs from 2008 to December 2021 and at Sinclair Knight Merz from February 2008 to 2014. Prior to these positions, John worked at AMEC Wind from 1992 to February 2008, where roles included Wind Farm Development/Operations Engineer and Production Engineer.
