Jon Emmerson

Jon Emmerson is an experienced finance and commercial professional with a diverse background in the energy and water sectors. Currently serving as Head of Commercial for Vattenfall Heat UK since June 2024, Jon leads business planning and performance management, focusing on financial outcomes and project delivery. Previously, Jon held key positions including Senior Commercial Manager at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, where responsibilities encompassed a £500m infrastructure project and management of finance structures, and Head of Financial Planning at Good Energy, overseeing budgeting and investment appraisals. Jon’s career also includes significant roles in commercial finance, management accounting, and risk analysis across various organizations, showcasing a strong ability to align financial performance with strategic objectives. Jon holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of East Anglia.
