Joost Alons has extensive experience in credit risk analysis, currently serving as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Vattenfall since September 2012. Alons has completed specialized courses through Moody's Analytics, focusing on corporate credit fundamentals and identifying early warning signs in problem credits. Prior to the senior role, Alons was a Credit Risk Analyst and participated in the International Finance Trainee Programme, which included an assignment at Vattenfall’s Corporate Headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. Earlier experience includes working as a Student Assistant in Physics Research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Alons holds a Master of Science with Honors and a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy from the same institution. Education began at Revius Lyceum Doorn, where an Atheneum diploma was earned.
