Katja Hinz is currently the Fachbereichsleiterin Entsorgung at Kernkraftwerk Brunsbüttel, having served in this role at Vattenfall Europe Nuclear Energy GmbH since 2021. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Projektingenieur at Studsvik. Prior to this, Katja was a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at Universität Heidelberg from 2015 to 2016, focusing on radiochemistry and nuclear waste management. They also served as a Marked Research Assistant at Kim Karlsruher Institut für Marktforschung in 2004-2005 and completed their doctorate at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie from 2012 to 2015.
