Mads Krogsgaard has accumulated extensive experience in the field of system engineering, particularly focusing on wind turbine power plants and electric drive solutions. Currently serving as Technical Lead and previously as Lead Modelling Engineer at Vattenfall since July 2016, Mads has a strong background in system control development, coordination among R&D departments, and test verification. Prior to Vattenfall, Mads worked at Siemens from June 2009 to June 2016 in various roles, including Advanced Engineer in system level control and product architecture, concentrating on system analysis and optimizing design for reduced Levelized Cost of Energy. Mads began a career as an Electric Machine Control Engineer at Sauer-Danfoss Inc., developing control schemes for electric machines from June 2006 to March 2009, and started as a Research Assistant at Aalborg University. Mads holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Economics from Syddansk Universitet and a Master of Science in Electro Mechanical System Engineering from Aalborg University.
