Marco Scheurwater

Marco Scheurwater is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in managing substantial budgets across various industries. They began their career as an account manager and procurement manager at Van Leeuwen Buizen from 1991 to 1998, progressing to a senior buyer role at ABB Lummus Global until 2000. Marco later served as a procurement manager at ING, overseeing a significant annual spend and managing a team of 15 until 2008. From 2008 to 2010, they held the position of inkoopmanager Generation at Nuon. Currently, Marco works as the Procurement Director for Heat and Customers & Solutions at Vattenfall, where they lead initiatives involving district heating, new build projects, and e-mobility, managing an annual budget of approximately 1.5 billion euros.
