Margit Deimel has extensive experience in environmental studies and wind energy development, starting as an Advisor in Environmental Affairs at Grontmij from 1990 to 1996. Margit progressed to roles such as Project Assistant and Project Leader for environmental studies at Grontmij Nederland bv. From 1996 to 2000, Margit served as Manager of Environmental Studies at Holland Railconsult. Subsequent positions included Development Manager for Windenergy at WEOM and Team Leader for Windenergy Development at Nuon Windenergy from 2007 to 2010. Margit then held the role of Head of Wind Development for Vattenfall Energy Solutions from 2014 to 2013, before becoming Director of Large-scale Solar at Vattenfall Energy Solutions in July 2017. Margit holds a Master's degree in Physical Geography from the University of Utrecht, obtained between 1984 and 1990.
