Marie Kimming, PhD, is currently the Head of Market Development Onshore Wind Sweden at Vattenfall AB, a position they have held since 2022. Previously, they served as Category Manager/Investment Purchaser and later as Head of Procurement New Energy Solutions at Vattenfall AB from 2014 to 2017. Marie was also a Fuel Buyer at E.ON Värme Sverige AB between 2011 and 2014, and they chaired the SLUSS PhD student board from 2009 to 2011. They completed their PhD in Biofuel Systems Analysis at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 2015 and hold a MSc in Environmental Management and Policy from Lund University, earned in 2008. Additionally, Marie gained early experience as an intern at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in 2006.
