Mark Hupkens is a passionate young professional dedicated to accelerating the energy transition, currently working in sustainability at Vattenfall. Mark has a diverse background that includes leadership as Team Leader for the Nuon Solar Team, where they led successful entries in prestigious solar challenges. They have held various roles at Vattenfall, including Sustainability Strategy Advisor and Innovation & Supplier Relations Manager, and have contributed to innovative projects and sustainable practices. Mark also co-founded Klimaat en Energie Koepel (KEK), an organization aimed at improving collaboration in climate-related sectors. Mark holds a Master of Science in Engineering and Policy Analysis, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis & Management, from Delft University of Technology.
