Melanie Poort

Melanie Poort is currently the Director of Media Relations NL at Vattenfall, where they focus on connecting people and simplifying complex matters. They previously held various roles at Nuon, including spokesperson and communication consultant, and served as a marketing consultant from 2002 to 2015. Melanie also worked at Alliander as a Crisis Communication Manager and coordinated communication activities at Lagerwey from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Communication Advisor at Wageningen Bioveterinary Research and as an Intercedent at Randstad. Melanie earned a degree in Journalism from Hogeschool van Utrecht, following their HAVO education at Guido de Brés.
