Michael Collins

Michael Collins is a seasoned Program Manager currently employed at Vattenfall since July 2023, following a role as Senior Project Manager. Prior to Vattenfall, Michael served as Project Manager at J. Murphy & Sons Limited, overseeing the £200m+ Cambridge South Station project, which involved collaboration with key stakeholders such as Cambridge University and the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Michael's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at Network Rail from June 2014 to July 2021 as Lead Portfolio Manager, managing complex infrastructure projects, including a £65m dual track enhancement and multiple station and renewal schemes. Michael started in the industry as a Works Scheduler focused on asset protection. Academically, Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering Technology from Kingston University and achieved Chartered Project Professional status in 2020 from the Association for Project Management.
