Peter van Heck

Peter van Heck is a seasoned Data Science professional currently serving as the Data Science Product Owner at Vattenfall since March 2020, where responsibilities include identifying data science opportunities and facilitating alignment between stakeholders. Prior to this role, Peter held positions as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist within the same Wind Analytics team, focusing on model development, predictive maintenance, and operational support. Previous experience includes gathering and analyzing data for the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, providing data science consulting through O&i management consulting, and a variety of roles related to customer journey analysis. Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Business Information Systems from Eindhoven University of Technology, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the same institution and a minor in Software Engineering from Mälardalen University.
