Rahul Khatri

Rahul Khatri is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as an Asset Optimization Manager at Vattenfall since August 2021, where responsibilities include the development of optimization models and planning for power markets. Prior experience includes roles at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences as a Scientific Research Employee focused on energy systems modeling, and completion of a Master Thesis at E.ON addressing distributed inverter control for renewable energy integration. Additional roles include research and engineering positions at Hahn-Schickard and National Refinery Limited, respectively, along with earlier experience as a Junior Electrical & Energy Engineer at Cool Equipment Engineering and volunteer work at Aga Khan University. Rahul holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy Engineering & Management from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
