René Kühne

René Kühne is currently the Managing Director at Vattenfall Wasserkraft Puls GmbH and has served as the Director of Fleetmanagement at Vattenfall Hydro Germany, where they hold full responsibility for the success of Vattenfall’s Hydro Fleet in Germany. With past roles including project lead and head of production at Vattenfall, René has extensive experience in asset optimisation, business development, and risk management. They began their professional journey in the Bundeswehr and have a strong educational background, holding a PhD and a Diplom-Ingenieur from Fernuniversität Hagen.
