Rory Anderson

Rory Anderson is a geophysicist with extensive experience in marine geophysical datasets and offshore projects. Rory began with a summer placement at Fugro EMU Limited in 2013, interpreting seismic data for windfarm site surveys. From March 2020 to April 2022, Rory served as Head of Geosciences at EGS International, overseeing acquisition, processing, and reporting of marine datasets. Additional roles at EGS International included Deputy Head of Geosciences and Senior Geophysicist, where Rory led projects such as cable route surveys and inspections for windfarms and oil and gas infrastructure. Currently, Rory is a Senior Geophysicist at Vattenfall, holding a BSc (Hons) in Marine Geoscience from the University of Plymouth and an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience for Exploration from the University of Manchester. Educational background also includes A-levels from Peter Symonds Sixth Form College and GCSEs from Kings' School Winchester.
