Tim Schulze

Tim Schulze is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as Lead Analyst for Structuring & Valuation at Vattenfall since August 2019, after holding the position of Senior Analyst in the same department. Previously, Tim worked at EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG from September 2015 to June 2019 as a Quantitative Analyst in Asset Trading, where responsibilities included developing valuation models for generation assets, supporting portfolio management, and improving market models. Before this, Tim held roles as a Senior Energy Market Modeller and a PhD Student at the University of Edinburgh, focusing on stochastic programming for hydro-thermal unit commitment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Operational Research with Energy from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
