Tomas Almberger is a senior generalist and the chairperson of the Technical Governance and Coordination Forum for the New Nuclear Project. They worked as a project leader at Svenska kraftnät from 2017 to 2018 and served as a safety engineer at Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB (SKB) from 2018 to 2025, with responsibilities including operational ordering for the nuclear fuel repository. Prior to this, they were a consultant at Vattenfall from 2005 to 2010 and served as a senior analyst in System Assessment at Strålsäkerhetsmyndigheten from 2010 to 2017, focusing on requirement development and systems security.
