David Cross

David Cross, PG, is an experienced and licensed geoscientist currently serving as the Geoscience Lead at Vaulted Deep, a position held since 2025. Previously, David has worked as a geology technician and geoscientist at Talos Energy, where they utilized Petrel and ArcGIS Pro for CO2 storage simulations. David has also held roles such as Lab Director at Riner Engineering, Inc., where they oversaw laboratory operations, achieved accreditations, and optimized workflows. With a Master's Degree in Geology from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Kentucky, David's background encompasses extensive experience in mining, oil and gas, civil engineering, and carbon capture utilization and storage (CCUS).
