Rwik Kumar Dutta

Rwik Kumar Dutta has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Rwik Kumar currently holds the position of Lead Data Scientist at Vaultedge Software since August 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at the same company from August 2021 to July 2022. Rwik also worked as a Software Engineer (Machine Learning) at Vaultedge Software, where they automated business processes using machine learning/deep learning, managed machine learning model lifecycle, and developed custom ETL pipelines according to business needs. Rwik Kumar also specialized in NLP tasks, including classification, named entity recognition, and extractive question answering on visually rich documents. Rwik started their career as a Data Science Intern at Prakshep in March 2019, where they gained initial exposure to the field.

Rwik Kumar Dutta completed their education in a sequential manner. Rwik Kumar began their educational journey at Don Bosco School Siliguri, where they completed their secondary education from 2003 to 2013. Following this, they attended Delhi Public School Siliguri from 2013 to 2015, where they achieved a Senior Secondary Education degree with a focus on science.

After their time at Delhi Public School, Rwik pursued further studies at B.P. Poddar Institute Of Management and Technology from 2015 to 2019. During this period, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science.

Additionally, Rwik Kumar Dutta obtained several certifications. In September 2016, they completed the "Introduction to Machine Learning" certification offered by NPTEL. Rwik Kumar also earned the certification for "Introduction to Data Analytics" from the same institution in the same month. Later, in October 2017, Rwik completed the "Machine Learning" course by Stanford University, offered through Coursera.
