Simon Morley

Chief Technology Officer at Vaultoro

Simon Morley has over 20 years of work experience, starting as a Junior Engineer at Nokia. Simon then worked as a Junior Analyst at Guinness Atkinson Asset Management before founding and serving as the CTO of Cucumber Tony, a WiFi management company. Simon also founded and served as the CTO of Perched Inc, a marketplace for kitchens.

In recent years, Simon has held the position of Chief Technology Officer at both The Standard and Vaultoro. At The Standard, they co-authored technical specs for the sEURO stablecoin and designed the stablecoin launch platform. Simon also managed a team of developers and audited smart contracts for security flaws. At Vaultoro, Simon rebuilt the trading platform, implemented automated trading bots, and oversaw the development of anti-money laundering systems. Simon also managed relationships between various teams and launched new products.

Simon has a strong skill set including programming languages such as Golang, Python, Solidity, and Rust. Simon is experienced in working with various crypto networks and deploying contracts across multiple networks. Simon also has experience with Kubernetes for container setup.

Simon Morley attended King's College London from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition, in 2001 to 2002, they briefly studied Mechanical Engineering at UCL.
