Dr. McLaughlin is currently the Vice President of Scientific Affairs & Epidemiology at Vaxcyte and serves as the Global Medical Lead for COVID-19 and mRNA Vaccines at Pfizer. With over a decade at Pfizer, Dr. McLaughlin has held various senior roles focusing on medical, scientific, and clinical affairs, primarily in the realm of vaccine development and epidemiological research. Previously, Dr. McLaughlin worked as an epidemiologist at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and consulted for Informagenics, LLC. Dr. McLaughlin holds a PhD and MS in Epidemiology from The Ohio State University and a BA in Zoology from Miami University.
