Mark Iverson is an experienced scientist with a robust background in the development of purification processes for recombinant proteins. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Scientist at Vaxcyte since January 2017, Mark Iverson has successfully developed a quantitative SDS-PAGE-based titer assay that enhanced upstream and downstream process development. Prior to this, Mark Iverson spent over 21 years at Genentech, where roles progressed from Research Assistant to Principal Research Associate, focusing on cGMP purification processes for various recombinant proteins from both bacterial and mammalian cell cultures. Mark Iverson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.
