Steve Smith

Steve Smith has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Steve is currently working as a Laboratory Manager at Vaxxas. Previously, they worked at Luina Bio as an HPLC Supervisor, where they managed a team of Analytical Biochemists and was responsible for various tasks such as deviation investigations, CAPAs, procedural updates/authoring, training, troubleshooting, and validations/qualifications. Before that, Steve was a Scientific Officer at Mylan and a Senior Quality Control Analyst at Luina Bio. Steve also worked as a Supervisor for the Analyser Team at Porton Biopharma Ltd and as a Senior Analytical Chemist at SPECTRUM ANALYTICAL LABORATORIES LIMITED. Earlier in their career, they were an Analytical Chemist at MSD and a Production Chemist at Aesica Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Steve Smith attended Northumbria University, where they earned a BSc HONS 1st degree in Biomedical Sciences. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety from OHS.
