Darrell Chen

Darrell Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Previously, Darrell served as an Immunology Clinical Specialist at Genentech, focusing on sales of monoclonal antibodies to Rheumatologists in specific regions. Darrell's career included roles as a Global Category Manager and US Category Manager, where leadership of cross-functional teams was key to procurement and operational improvements within the Genentech network. As the Founder and Principal of Scout, a recruiting business, Darrell generated significant revenue while providing services to biotech startups and life science companies. Currently, Darrell works as a Sales Representative for VB Spine after a tenure at Stryker, where responsibilities included supporting spine surgery cases in the New York City metro area. Darrell holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis, an M.S. in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Graduate Certificate in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, in addition to earning a Brown Belt in Renzo Gracie Jiu Jitsu.
