Sofia Abrahamsson

Sofia Abrahamsson currently serves as the Head of Purchasing at VBG Group AB since March 2024. Prior to this role, Sofia held significant positions at Volvo Group, including Head of Sheet Metal Complex, Tanks Purchasing and Group Purchasing Manager from September 2018 to March 2024. At GKN Driveline, Sofia worked as Plant Purchasing Manager and Team Leader Indirect Purchasing between November 2015 and September 2018. Additionally, Sofia was a Board Member at MQ Västerås from February 2015 to March 2017. Earlier experience includes roles as Project Procurement Manager and Buyer at Bombardier Transportation from April 2011 to October 2015. Sofia holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management from Northwood University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
