Ross Barrett

Co-Founder at VC Experts

Ross Barrett has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Legislative Aide for the Office of United States Senator J. Bennett Johnston. In 2000, they co-founded VC Experts, Inc. and in 2003, they founded and became the General Partner of BVM Capital. In 2006, they were a Director at Esperance Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and in 2010 they were a Member of the Board of Directors for Blade Studios and a Member of the Louisiana Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. In 2013, they founded Second Command Digital, LLC, and in 2015 they co-founded Lagniappe Labs and became the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Embera NeuroTherapeutics.

Ross Barrett attended Southern Methodist University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a BA in Political Science and Biology. Ross then went on to LSU Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) between 1996 and 1999. Finally, they attended New York University School of Law from 1999 to 2000, where they earned an LLM in Taxation and Corporate Restructuring.
