John Hey

John Hey has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

John is currently working at VC3 as the Chief Integration Officer, a position they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Operations at VC3 from February 2021 to September 2022, and before that, they served as the Chief Strategist from October 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining VC3, John worked at Rehmann as a Principal from April 2018 to October 2019.

John'slongest tenure was at Trivalent Group, where they held multiple roles over the course of many years. John served as the Chief Operating Officer from January 2012 to April 2018, and prior to that, they were the Vice President of Services, actively involved in the ownership of the business from February 2002 to January 2012. Before that, they were the Technical Services Manager from July 1995 to February 2002, where they managed a team of technical personnel and also played a front-line technical role. John started their career at Trivalent Group as a System Engineer from May 1992 to July 1995.

John Hey completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their degree, they obtained various certifications throughout their career. In May 2010, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Level certification from the UK Home Office. Furthermore, in October 2019, they obtained both the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² and the CJIS certification from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Additionally, in December 2011, they earned the Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) certification from DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute).
